Getting To Know The Women Behind The Coupons!

I first started couponing in early 2014. After watching the American show on TLC I did a quick search on Google and the first page to pop up was The Coupon Queen’s Extreme Couponing And Deals UK. I followed Emma for a while before deciding to create my own page so I could help out my family and friends. Emma and I didn’t get on at first but after some long chats we soon realised how alike we are and became great friends. Even our partners have hit it off! We also discovered that we only live an hour away from each other so watch this space for some epic coupon madness!

So how much do you really know about the famous coupon Queen…

1. What was the first coupon you ever used?

My First ever coupon must also win the award for the most boring! It was 50p off some Nestle shreddies, but at the time It felt like the most valuable piece of paper in my life.

2. Growing up were your family money savers? Do you have any inspirations?

Growing up my parents always taught me the value of money from a young age. I never had all the latest gadgets my friends had but I think that’s what has made me so grateful and hard-working in my adult years. As soon as I turned 18 I had a full-time job and being able to go out and buy expensive luxuries felt amazing because I worked hard for them. My Grandad has to be my biggest inspiration I remember always going round as a Child and having him explain what money he has saved this week!

3. What does Mitch think of your super savvy ways?

3. Mitch supports me in all I do, so it’s great to see him get as excited for freebies or a glitch. Maybe it’s forced upon him but he is always sending me deals he’s spotted and Coupons! He even did his own Coupon shop (On my Youtube Channel). It’s such a change from what I’m used to experiencing from my ex. If his debt wasn’t enough he used to make fun as say Couponing was pathetic and a waste of time. How wrong was he!

4. When you were a Child what was your dream job? Did you see yourself ever becoming a full-time Couponer as a job?

I always wanted to be a singer, my parents always supported me I went to Stagecoach and even auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent when I was 16 but it just wasn’t for me. I always knew I would have a weird career who knew Couponing and saving money could help so many people. My business is so rewarding in the from of helping so many people and nothing makes my day more than the lovely emails I get daily, about how much my page has helped someone. I’m much more fulfilled in life now than I was in working for the bank e.t.c

5.Tell us a secret..

I have 6 tattoo’s EVERYONE is always shocked by this as I hide them so well.

6. If you could tell your 16-yr old self anything what would it be?

Nothing Before It’s Time – I love this quote I heard an actress say it once. I went through a lot of pain in my teenage years and wish I could have seen a glimpse into the future at the time. I’m a preacher of fate and I truly believe our paths are set out to happen at exact time’s. A lot of people hurt me back when I was 16 and today I am happy to say none of it matters anymore. At the time it felt like my world was imploding but the pain all seems worth it now.
