Christmas Shoebox Appeal. – CouponMamaUK

A small shoebox can mean so much to someone who has nothing.

All you need to do is find your local drop off point HERE. Get a shoebox, wrap it up in Christmas wrapping paper and fill it full of goodies! Don’t forget to mark it either boy or girl.

If you don’t have the time to make up a shoebox, there are groups of people who collect donations and make up loads of shoeboxes. I found a group HERE who last year managed to raise enough money to donate 70 shoeboxes! That’s 70 happy children on Christmas Day!

How To Pack Your shoebox.

Toys

You can include items that children will immediately embrace such as dolls or stuffed toys (with CE label), toy trucks, harmonica, yo-yo, skipping rope, ball, small puzzles etc.

School Supplies

Pens, pencils & sharpeners, crayons or felt pens, stamps & ink pad sets, writing pads or notebooks & paper, solar calculators, colouring & picture books etc.

Hygiene Items

Toothbrush and toothpaste, bars of wrapped soap, comb or hairbrush, flannel.

Other Items

Hat, cap, gloves or scarf, sunglasses, hair accessories, jewellery set, wind up torch, wrapped sweets (best-before-date must be at least March of the following year)

You can print out girl and boy labels HERE.

You can now even build a shoebox online HERE.

Don’t forget you only have until the 18th November!

Remember to spare a thought on Christmas Day for those less fortunate than us.
