Our Weekend Box Review

The Weekend Box is a subscription box for kids jam-packed with activities. Not only does the box come with four separate activities, it also comes with stickers, a coupon and a certificate for when all the activities are completed.

I love the way all the activities come in colour coded bags with colour coded instruction cards. We started with the yellow bag and followed the easy to read instructions to make our spinning wheel. Connor really enjoyed colouring in each section and learning about different colours. He called it his spinning pizza! It was so nice to see how proud he was of his creation.

Next we tried the popcorn. It was pouring down with rain over the weekend so having this box really kept the kids entertained. We decided to have a movie afternoon so the popcorn was great to snack on. Connor loved watching the popcorn pop in the saucepan and adding the chocolate on top! We got the popcorn pot in our local poundland.

I felt the box had a very autumnal feel to it with the spinning wheel and popcorn it kind of reminded me of bonfire night. We still have two more activities to do this week and as Connor only does afternoons at nursery these are perfect to keep him busy for a couple of mornings in the week!

We absolutely loved the weekend box and think it’s so great to see the kids working together and being creative. I would much rather get the kids an activity box like this at the end of each week than buy them sweets and with winter coming it’s perfect indoor fun!!
